how long does it take to upgrade from 1.1 to 1.2.1 (minutes / hours?)

Recommended Posts

someone has experience with the update from version 1.1.0.5 to version 1.2.1. How many minutes / hours of the update of system compatibility, point 3 to point 4 Update complete. For me, he has now been just over 1 hours.

I have no indication what he is doing. only the rotating bar to the right above!

Many thanks for a tip. Maybe I can cancel the process so if he does nothing more.

Just depends on how quick your internet connection is! Plus when you do upgrade if you dont want your current theme taken out when you have downloaded the new prestashop Version 1.2.1.0 remember to delete the theme folder.

Should take 2 hours max there is something like 6000 files.

ok andybr1ggs
thanks for the tip

Then I have some more time .. before i kill the process. The internet connection is 10MB, it should really be fast enough.

maybe you know so well:
If I manually adjust the database, I think I must convert the DB with all the files (see below), found in the directory install/sql/upgrade ?

1.1.0.5.sql
1.2.0.1.sql
1.2.0.2.sql
.
.

1.2.1.0.sql

Just do everything it tells you in the setup there is no need to touch your database you will have the install folder then just go through that - then click upgrade icon then you will be ok

so www.yourstore.com/admin/install then follow setup click upgrade.

if you debug the process from 1.1 to 1.2.1 you will see a error

this is the error:

uncaught exception: [Exception... "Could not convert JavaScript argument arg 0" nsresult: "0x80570009 (NS_ERROR_XPC_BAD_CONVERT_JS)" location: "JS frame :: http://www.domain.com/store_new/js/jquery/jquery-1.2.6.pack.js :: anonymous :: line 11" data: no]
