The Fuzzy Pineapple
I made a collection category but all of the items from each sub category (the different collections) show up. I need a way to have multiple collections in one category titled "collection". I have attached some pictures of how I used the packs to solve the original problem however I would like to not use packs at all as it conflicts with inventory. The other pictures show how I would like to display the multiple collections.
Carlsen
Hi The Fuzzy Pineapple, Looking at the example images it seems to me that they have just made a category called "Collections". In this category they have added subcategories (Hot Hues etc.), and then they have added some products. As you might already know, you can display a product in multiple categories, so the above solution should work. Or am I missing something? By the way, remember you can define accessories for each product: Product -> Associations -> Define products under "Accessories"
The Fuzzy Pineapple
Yes. I tried that originally, however, that doesn't work with prestashop because it will show all of the items in the parent category regardless if you have it checked or not. In otherwords, for example, when I put the items in the subcategories "earring collection" and "hat collection" inside of the "collection" parent category it will show the all of the items in both subcategories in the "collection" parent category. Carlsen
Hi Fuzzy Pineapple, Can you write the URL to your Prestashop? Maybe it can be fixed with a simple modification to the categories tpl file.

Maybe it can be fixed with a simple modification to the categories tpl file. Hello, thank you for your help! I posted this twice and am continuing it on this post http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/252533-how-to-make-a-collection-not-for-sale-or-a-pack/ with all of the details. Thank you again.
