Isue is no delivery method appears on check ot and shippment costs on the cart is always 0. due to not having any delivery method i cannot proced with check out, hence i cannot try my payment methods installed in the shop. What I have done so far anbd has not worked: Created new courriers. Deleted default ones. Create new weight and price rules. Ticked all areas to deliver. Select only some of the areas. I have done several times with diferent, parameters, names free shipping no free shipping, etc etc I cannot think any further actions. And cant find anything so far. Didnt work at some point. then worked without knowing why and now has stopped. I am looking to buy this module http://www.prestasho...ge-or-wildcard/ but i was just wondering if it would work if the module that comes from the default back office does not. thanks for your help. As you may see from the pics i have installed the estimate module just to try out if there would be any change. There is but not a solution th. i believe this might be something related to.... no i m just joking i have no clue! no changes in this issue. any further ideas. So I need to ask if I back up the database, and I start from scratch when I import the database, will I have the shop as I have it now, or thins likes pictures, data and others would have been lost? and more important do you think if i do a clean install of the shop the problem will be sorted? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

kenkokafe Posted June 11, 2013 Author Share Posted June 11, 2013 I am taking this as a SOLVED! solutions: 1- Delete all the Prestashop 1.5.4.1 files 2- Do a clean install. 3- No need to back up database as it will just bring the issue up again. 4- Bulti the shop from scratch. PascalVG Posted September 3, 2013 Share Posted September 3, 2013 Hi infistream, can you post a few screenshots of your shop: - Countries that you enabled - the zones you have - the carriers you have, with their details (zone where it should work, out of range behaviour, price or weight ranges etc. - if you have advanced stock management ON, your ware house- details, where you have checked which carriers you can use for that warehouse. - A few things to try. - Do you use one-page-checkout? Try the 5 steps and see if that helps. - make sure you have no holes in your ranges. END value of range step 1 must be exactly THE SAME as the BEGIN value of step 2, like this: Step1: 0 - 1.00 Kg Step 2: 1.00 Kg - 5.00 Kg Step 3: 5.00 Kg - 10.00 Kg etc. - If you have warehouses, make sure at least one carrier is selected, and test with a country that that carrier really can ship to. If you select NO carriers, none will be displayed in checkout! - Check if price/weight doesn't go over price/weight range. if so, no carrier will be shown IF you set out-of-range behaviour to: "Disable carrier". If you want me to have a look, create a temporary Employee (Administration->Employees) and give Admin rights. Go to Stock >warehouses, and then select the carrier for that warehouse in the 'edit' page I just tested it by making all warehouses have the same carrier. I'm not sure how it works if you have stock coming from different warehouses and different carriers When you have stock coming from different warehouses you can choose different carriers to ship them. The problem is if you have the same inventory stock coming from multiple warehouses. Even if you have the same carrier assigned, they will need to come from different packages using the same carrier, simply because they are located in a different geographic warehouse.
