kiwiacw
I have a cart set up with v 1.1I have 3 levels of shipping price dependant on weight with the shipping set as to bill according to total weight. When a product with a quantity discount is added to cart as soon as 6 items (more than 3 attract quantity discount)are entered it drops the cart total shipping down to the shipping rate belowie: Item A is #3.00 shippingItem B is 6When I purchase 1x Item A and 4 x Item B it attracts $6.00 shipping...which is correctbutWhen i purchase 1 x Item A and 6x Item B it charges $3.00 shipping...not rightIdeas? I have several items with quantity discount which this affects, the single unit has the correct weight as as stated it works fine up until 6 are purchased
kiwiacw
This is becoming a huge problme and seems to center around quantity breaks, once it sets a shipping in on the larger quatity breaks any further products added which should make it default to a higher shipping rate do not have any effect. Is this a bug in the 1.1? Aby suggestions? I have checked and rechecked the weights and they are right and rates workign properly when there are not quatities of one product bought.Help..becoming and urgent issue
kiwiacw
Trying to determine if this is a bug or if it's something I am doing wrong...has anyone had a similar issue with shipping and quantity????
kiwiacw
It appears to be a bug that is fixed in 1.2..or at least thats what i've come up with as it doesn't fault in 1.2the max weight is 1000 regardless of if you set the range higher than that. My solution...work down to the lowest weights i can ie .001 etc so that even if soemone bought 200 units they won't go over 1000. Big job to change all the weights but at least i have an answer and a solution for this one
