FrankG
Hi There! I want to have special offers for our newsletter recipients. So I made a product site with a cheaper price and set the visibility to "nowhere" which works fine. Only people having that link will find the site. Except google :-( A few hours later I got a google alert showing me my hidden page. I had a look into the source code and in robots and on the google sitemap from the standard module. The meta tags in the product page says "index, follow", which is not quite good for "Visibility: Nowhere". The Google Sitemap had the hidden page in it. In robots.txt it was not excluded. Does anyone know how to correct that? I couldn't find anything in the settings. So I believe this should be a Feature Request. Thanks alot. Pete78
You have to modify the gsitemap module since the invisible products aren't handled at all. I added a solution here: http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PNM-1499?focusedCommentId=74255#comment-74255 and here http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PNM-1498?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=74254#comment-74254 hope this helps.
