FlyboyBlake
Running Prestashop 1.4.9 UPS Module v. 1.2.3 I had my store set up and my UPS module appropriately configured in the modules page, but could not get it to show up at checkout in the FO. After some time, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the UPS module. After the reinstall, I cannot get the active UPS carriers to push onto the "Carriers" page. They absolutely will not appear. I've tried reconfiguring, reinstalling, even downloading the original file from the PS install, wiping it off my server, and reinstalling the module from scratch. The first time I had it set up, they at least showed up on the carriers page, which they did on their own upon activating the module. It says on the modules page that the UPS module is up and running, I've got no error messages, and everything should be ship-shape on that side, but it will not create carrier options on the carrier page. FlyboyBlake
OK... What I think may have happened is that when I reset the UPS Shipping module itself, I deleted the UPS carriers in the carriers page, erroneously thinking that they would come back when I reinstalled the module. I'm no expert on SQL, but my guess is that there's a table somewhere that has the carriers information in it and I accidentally deleted the UPS carriers out of it, making it impossible for them to reappear. If anyone more knowledgeable than me can get me the information I need to put those back up, it would be much appreciated. I guess I will have to enter something directly into the database, but I don't really know where to begin on that. Thanks, Blake
FlyboyBlake
Another update: Got the carrier to appear in the back office by the following method: - Open phpMyAdmin - Open the "_carrier" table - Locate the previously deleted carriers - Deleted carriers should have a value of "1" in the column titled "deleted" - Change the "deleted" value to "0" - Make sure the value for "active" is "1" - Save your changes The carrier popped back up in the back office. HOWEVER, I am still unable to get any UPS carriers to appear in the Front Office checkout. I've tried all of the fixes I've seen on the forums (in particular, those Re: this thread). Any help is appreciated! I'm running PS 1.4.11, with the module Connect to UPS v1.
