halalan
I follow the upgrade steps to bring my site up to the most recent version release. 1.2.1. I copied my /img files over and my settings.inc.php file over. Everything looks okay except that my HOME PAGE TEXT has now reset to the MODULES-HOME TEXT EDITOR original installed info and logo.Is there a step I overlooked to have this remember my text entered in the HOME TEXT EDITOR prior to the upgrading of my site? jhnstcks
Hopefully you should still have your old site still in its own folder. In the editorial module folder there is a file called editorial.xml, move this file into your new sites editorial folder.
halalan
Yes..I was able to do that, but others may not catch that..so wanted to confirm if it was a bug or not?
jhnstcks
Its not really a bug as it is part of the module, but I guess it should be transferred with the upgrade some how.
halalan
I thought it would be part of the sql database and just be there since I only did the UPGRADE not a new install, I think thats what threw me. ANd since it comes as part of the CORE package one would assume it would still be there.
Informatique
Hi,Speaking as someone who just lost his life, I'd agree that something should be done to at the very least warn users of this!Having just upgraded to 1.2.3 and had the same experience, I got a rather unpleasant fright. At the very least can you not add a step to the Upgrade instructions to include copying theis file over?
