[solved] categories block left stays empty

Hi All,

 

I seem to have a problem with the categories_block in the left column of my shop. Created categories and subcategories but no matter what i do, it just doesn't display any... Ran through all the settings quite a few times.

 

It just shows the title 'categories' and that's it. Been trying to search for possible solutions through Google and fora on the web for a couple of days now but just can't seem to find the solution (#$%&*).

 

Uninstalled/reinstalled the standard module but the result is still an empty categories menu.

 

Anybody has an idea what might cause this?

turn force compilation under preferences > performance tab in BO. If you've got CACHE turned on - turn it off and try to refresh your website.

Started again from building the categories from scratch and done what Vekia told me. My problem is fixed now.
