[SOLVED] Homepage product carousel

Is there a module available that let's you scroll through your products as you would using a slider or carousel which plugs into the homepage? At the moment my client site shows static images of each category on the homepage. However the client wants users to be able to scroll through some products available within each category.

 

Here's an example of exactly what I want, but for PS 1.4.8

You can scroll through the products using the left and right arrow buttons.

 

I also found this one, but it's only for featured products.

Any ideas anyone?
