BlizzardUK
Hi everyone. Just have a few problems I wonder if anyone knows the answers to ? I am using Prestashop 1.4.8.2 1. My site runs much slower in IE than other browsers. Any ideas ? It is painfully slow in IE but quite okay in others, 2. When people select to pay via PayPal if using IE they will be told of a warning when the logo tries to load on the PayPal page. But the logo is on the same server as the SSL. This warning does not appear on other browsers that I have tested. UPDATE : Doesn't seem to happen on my home IE but happened on my work IE computer. 3. When people have filled in their delivery information, the default postage option on the 1 page checkout changes, it goes from UK 1st Class to UK Recorded Delivery. I have no idea why this changes, both are options for UK addresses. It is set to the correct default before people type in their info, but changes when clicking "save". My website if you need to test is : http://www.leosden.co.uk/shop It is not advertised to people until Wednesday so I still have a day to sort this, if you sign up to test please use "test" as your name so I can ignore and delete it, or checkout as a guest. Thanks everyone ! Edited June 3, 2013 by BlizzardUK (see edit history)
benjamin utterback
Hi, for question number three, who is your default carrier set in your back office?
BlizzardUK
Hi. The default one in the back panel is Royal Mail, which shows up ticked first correctly, but as soon as people type in their details it switches to Royal Mail Signed For which is not the one I want as default. Any idea why it changes ? I also forgot to mention, in the back office I have selected "no tax" on postage but on the checkout it shows as "(excl VAT) beside the postage price, is this right ? I hope people don't think there is more cost that will be added. Edited June 3, 2013 by BlizzardUK (see edit history)
