Search after category

Hi everybody, i'm new into this community and this is my first atempt on working with PrestaShop. I'm creating my own low-budget website and i quite got stucked at something.

 

I need a search module based on categories (plus a field for general typing, like searching after a name).

 

What i'm looking for can be tested here (in case the website isn't working i've attached a screenshot).

sea I'm talking about that search on the left side of the website (this one is lacking that field where you can simply search the product after his name - like the general search). As i said, my project is quite low-budget so i'm looking for something that is free/open source or as cheapest as possible.

I think the "Step search" module is suiting my needs, but i still look over something free/open source. One question tho', is compatible with the latest PrestaShop version?

Yes, my shop is going to sell car pieces. I will have as a main category the car brand (ex: BMW), the model in a subcategory (ex: E46) and the piece as a subcategory of the model subcategory (ex: the engine).
