I need again some help...

I would like to change the name of "featured product" on the homepage into someting like "chosen for you"...I have no idea how to do. Anybody can help me?

You can edit it in back office under the localizations > translations tab.

select "modules" translations from dropdown list, then click on flag for which you want to change the text.

 

you've got there modules list with translation fields, search for homefeatured module - you can easily change translations there. (you can also change english text there)

 

other method is related to the module .tpl file, but for now - try first one - because this is the best method

Hi, many thanks for the reply! I tried but unfortunelly I get a message that the PHP configuration of my provider limits the number of fields in the post to 1000 so I need to ask to increase because I can't see them to make the change.

Okay, you can try to increase max input vars limit

or to change it manually in the:

 

modules/homefeatured/homefeatured.tpl file

(or in en.php if exist)

Hello,

I finally find little time to work it out.

Indeed is very simple even without access to the php.ini file.

I simply created a file on the server root called PHP5.ini with the following script:

 

max_input_vars = 5000

 

Of course you can set whatever suit your need. It works ok

can you also say something more about your hosting provider? Your solution will be helpfull for other merchants on the same hosting.

Sure my host provider is domainsinseconds.com (I think go daddy.com is the same so should work also there).
