Blocktopmenu - Instant and Ajax search not working (1.4.10.0)

My top bar menu modul (blocktopmenu) is not comunicating with the instant and Ajax setup in prestashop. On defferent top bar (maofree) it's working fine. Any sugestion how to fix the problem?

it's probably javascript issue, if it is possible - please paste the url to your store where we can test it (block search with instant search). It's hard to say whats going on without an access to the store.

i chcked your website. The problem is with js, no instant search script included to the page source.

i think that theme file overrides instant search script and this is the main problem

This is a little strange as on my other website I have use the same theme (add-on theme 15) and all the scripts works OK. I have sent the site for testing to the add-ons prestashop team so we'll see what they'll find out.

The only different is that one site is built with Prestashop 1.4.10.0 and the other (the good one) is built with version 1.4.9.0

i am facing a problem in my website i have created one module on left column which is having some javascript which is causing my instant search and other javascript  not working and also i am facing same problem ajax is not working in top menu.

I got the same problem with the blocktopmenu search box.

 

The quick search block offers nice instant results and an acceptable prestentations of these.

I am missing the same in the blocktopmenu.

So, looking for answers I found this thread.

 

Problem is, the issue remains when I activate the ps 1562 default theme, too.

Live and local under Xampp.

 

Any tipps?

 

 

PS

I want to deactive the quick search block to get some space in the header for other stuff.
