Hi Henzan, Welcome to the forum.

just go to your Back office (the admin page) and select Catalog->Attributes & Values

here you see the list of existing attributes. At the right of each of the item rows here, you see the garbage bin icon. Click it and it will be deleted.

Hope this helps,

pascal

How can I add a combination to an existing product without having to start all over again?

I was adding combinations and forgot to add one, but when I try to go via "add new combination", it tells me that the product is no longer available in that combination, but it might in others. The only other way is for me to start all over, which is a pain since I have to assign the pictures again for a product that comes in over 30 variations.

I appreciate any help with this.

Thanks!

Hi Dianix,

- Can you quote the exact, literal message they show you?

When exactly do you get this message,

- When pressing the + New Combination button

- when selecting a new attribute or value

- When pressing Add

- When pressing save/save and stay

Thanks for your quick reply!

This is the exact message I get: " THIS PRODUCT IS NO LONGER IN STOCK WITH THOSE ATTRIBUTES BUT IS AVAILABLE WITH OTHERS. "

For example:

I created a product with different values (I added values and attributes through Catalog). My attribute name is "M & F Series" and some values are "F08, F10, F13". If I forget to add a value, let's say "F15", I pressed the "+ New Combination" button to add that "F15" and then "save and stay".

However, when I go to my product page, and select that "F15" value to add to my cart, I get the " THIS PRODUCT IS NO LONGER IN STOCK WITH THOSE ATTRIBUTES BUT IS AVAILABLE WITH OTHERS. " message.

The only way for me to be able to get rid of that message is to start over with the combinations, but then I have to re assign everything again (pictures, etc.)

Thanks! :)

Dianix,

after adding the new combination, go to the quantities tab of your product. there you will see all your combinations, with amounts of product stock available. Probably you didn't add any stock here for the new combination yet, so when trying to order, it gives this message.

So add some stock in the Product->Edit, Quantities tab. That should do it.

Definitely overlooked that!

Since it says "default quantity" when I created the combination, I assumed it was automatic for all.

Thank you so much for your help! That worked! :)

Good to hear that it works for you!

Yes, i's a little confusing. It was the default value for all combination upon creations for the first time. When adding new combinations afterwards, you will have to add stock manually.

I'll mark the topic as solved.

Good luck with your shop!

Hi

When I have deleted all the combinations through Catalogue->Attributes and Values->Trash Icon(to delete ).

What happened afterwards was that my prices were not showing anymore in the catalogue view. The price was always saying 0 for all products.

I have 30,000 products in my shop so it cannot be done manually.

How could I delete all the combinations and keep the prices showing?

I am using:

PrestaShop™ 1.5.6.2

Thank you

Regards

Jan

I'm having a BIG problem with add/modify combinations.screen (it was working for over an year and suddenly it stop work)

If I mark the relative image to that combination, it does not save this option. If I return to the same option, combination of that product, the check box is unmarked.

And, obvious, in my front office, the images don't change when I select each variation.

Old products works fine.

PS, 1.5.4.1 default theme with minor CSS alterations
