Carl.Tedford
Hello again. I am using GoDaddy web hosting and yesterday I tried to translate Front Office in some other languages than English (Localization > Translations) and got this message: Warning, your PHP configuration limits the maximum number of fields to post in a form: 1000 for max_input_vars. Please ask your hosting provider to increase the this limit to 1335 at least or edit the translation file manually. Anyone know what this means and how I could fix it ? P.S. I have contacted the customer support of DoGaddy hosting with this inquiry and they advised me to change the max_input_vars value in php5.ini (file in root directory) but I could not find max_input_vars so I could not change its value! Thanks in advance !
Ignawin
Carl, it might be defined by default yet it doesn't appear in the php.ini file. Have you tried just creating max_input_vars, giving it a value of 3000, p.e.?
Carl.Tedford
Ignawin, I have not tried to create this max_input_vars. I will do it now, but need to know where exactly should I insert it (which line in php5.ini file) ? Thanks!
Ignawin
Carl, I think it should not matter, it's just a set of variables, where position doesn't matter.
Carl.Tedford
Unfortunately it is still the same. Manually inserted the line "max_input_vars = 3000" and the error is still showing. Any other suggestions ? Thanks !
Ignawin
Heh, I can use now an IT crowd Quote. Have you tried turning it on and off again? From my personal experience, I've been only using php.ini file on my localhost, had the same problem, increased max_post size but had to turn localhost off and on again. Otherwise it was still unchanged. Do you have a VPS or an own server? Can you turn it off and on?
Marko007
Hi I have the same problem, I changed my php.ini max_input_vars to 5000 but even after restart of the changes to take effect, already know what to do next I tried everything and nothing helped. I have my own Synology NAS 212 server localhost. Thank you for your help

Marko007
I have now resolved it, I had to change php.ini but .htaccess and everything works as it should. I have added to the file store .htaccess "ini_value max_input_vars 5000". and everything works
