it all depends on what you exactly expect.

 

have you an idea what you want to change / add / remove ?

In header page, How to display a social block like fb, rss, etc.

you can do it in many ways, you can add it there manually (by editing header.tpl file) or by using some free modules, for example, this one: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/250241-module-free-social-network-animated-buttons/
