when will prestashop have responsive layout?

Recommended Posts

Hi there, is there any PrestaShop expert to help me out where to find the HTML and CSS files to make PrestaShop to have responsive layout?

As you all know, the world is gone crazy about responsive layouts, and every GOOD developers build any new site with twitter bootstrap responsive layout. Because world's 30% of internet users use mobile devices to browse internet, and next year that rate will be 40% all tech firms say.

So it will be stupid to not build in responsive layout if you crrently building a PrestaShop site.

Actually, PrestaShop developers should have already created all those responsive layout files and put into the latest PrestaShop download folder. But as all open source developers, they stayed behind the speed of internet, they are a bit slow.

Anyway its not too late to supply that bundle, so all shopping script lookers without a single thought they will come hre and download PrestaShop with responsive layout. So there won't be any discussion between Presta or OpenCart or anything else there will be only one option for developers, it will be like a monopoly in this e-commerce scripts world.

NOTE: Themes like BlackHawk and etc.. all around but, when people sees their bad design and coding, it only creates bad reputation for PrestaShop, nothing else. People wants to see a good and solid and tested layout to go with the good reputation of PrestaShop, not kinder garden try outs.

it's not as easy as it seems, you said that you want to change it... so, prestashop is based on grid system:

/themes/default/css/grid_prestashop.css

other css styles:

/themes/default/css/global.css

Hi SeregaS

thnx for your reply and thnx for the links.

You've done grat work. Which one is latest one? I mean which one has better coding of css?

And where can I download them?

Do you have the files as PrestaShop theme structure? When I download it shall I just upload into theme folder and select on admin and thats it? Or needs lots of modifying to make it as theme?

If you could reply me on this I appreciate, thnx.
