vkadima
I am trying to use many of the free modules that come with Prestashop 1.5. Unfortunately, I can't get several working. Is this normal? The Product Comment module does not display nothing on the site. I change the theme to check andit does notchange anything. Is there a place where I have to say "Make this module visible on site" besidesin the module config page? The Cross selling module does not work for me neither even if I configured it on the moduel's page. is there anything I have to do for it to work? Then I tried the Customer follow-up and never received all the tests I did. I called manually http://mydomain.com/modules/followup/cron.php?secure_key= as explained, I tried to add the numberof the type of follw-up I wanted at the end of this link, I tried without...nothing works. I can't get multistore working neither... (I am willing to pay someone who could configurate it for me!) I feel overwelmed by having to find out why all those options do not work. Do they really work or is it just me? Can someone help me? I've been trying to set up my site for 3 weeks but there is always something not working...
guest*
Please check the minimal configuration for Prestashop 1.5.X of your webspace which is: allow_fURL_open = on cURL =on save_mode = off magic_quotes_gpc = off memory_limit=128M max_input_time=300 max_execution_time=300 max_input_vars=5000 On your FTP CHMOD 0750 or 0755 set for: /cache /cache/cachefs /cache/smarty /cache/smarty/cache /cache/smarty/compile /cache/tcpdf /classes /config /config/xml/ /controllers /css /docs /download /img /js /localization /log /mails /modules /override /pdf /themes/default/cache /themes/default/lang /themes/mein Thema/cache /themes/mein Thema/lang /translations /upload /webservices .htaccess robots.txt sitemap.xml All other Prestashop files should have CHMOD 0640 or 0644 (except the one mentioned above). If your folder /modules don't have enough writing permissions you will have problems. The same if your webspace does not fulfil the minimal server configuration mentioned above for the server modules.
