Delivery Address

i am looking for a module or any help customizing my online shop so that delivery address is completely in different format that billing address. Most of my customers has billing address of USA, Canada or Europe. And 99% of the time delivery address is Nepal. And address system in Nepal is nothing like America and Europe. i am new to prestashop. Prestashop genius please help me.

Can you provide the address format you would like to use for Nepal?

but by default, in prestashop you can allow your customers to define other delivery address. In this case, you can also allow them to fill the form with Nepali address. Go to the localization -> Countries tab (in your back office)

search for Nepal country on list and activate it, exactly as i show below:

 

 

then you have to configure carriers to support delivery to Nepal

There is no any specific Address Format but , it usually goes like this

Address

City

Country

 

We don't have State and Zip Code system

Is it possible to disable State and Zipcode only in Delivery address? Aslo i would like to add one more custom field. Is it possible?

i would like to add district in for country nepal. i went there and add district but that field is not showing in delivery address. Do i need to do more that that?

District arent related to the State?

if so - you can translate state to "district"

 

then you can define states / districts in the localization > states tab

Can it be done in a way where it shows up district for Nepal address and state for united states address?

We are having the same issue. We are working for a client here in Peru who decided to use prestashop, we took over the development work and noticed that there is no district option either. 

 

Here in Peru and many regions of the world such as our friend in Nepal shipping can be based on a District Level. 

 

Country

I imagine this could be true for large cities in the US and in Europe too. Prestashop should think about adding this functionality or giving the user the option to add it.

yes same here in Indonesia, we do calculate in district level, I hope presta would  consider it to create district level without hack the core.
