The problem of shipping costs

Hallo.

 

I have problem with shippment coast. I would like to work as follows counting, for small products the first coast be a was to fixed rate and for next small products there was nothing to be added until a specific number of items. How do I get the following result.

I suppose the easiest way is to give every product a weight, for example:

 

1 product = 100 grams = $1

2 products = 200 grams = $1

3 products = 300 grams = $1

4 products = 400 grams = $2

 

So, set your shipping to:

 

1 gram to 399 grams = $1

400 grams to xxx grams = $2

 

Or is this not what your asking

You could also create a different carrier for the small products and select that as the only option for those products.
