Guest
Hey everyone, I was wondering if it is possible for have only the available combinations show up for each selection in the front-end? For example I have options A, B, and C. Option A has c and d available. Option B and C have a and b available. But option A shows a, b, c, and d. Is there anyway for option A to only show options c and d in the dropdown? I would really appreciate any help, or a point in the direction to a module. I have tried searching and have only found partial solutions, such as showing the available product combinations on the page in plain text. Thanks in advance, EDIT: Also, my shop allows me to add combinations that are not supposed to be there. Why is this? It doesnt show quantity, but allows me to add it to cart. Would this be an error my product.tpl?
tomerg3
Hi, Our http://www.presto-changeo.com/en/attribute-modules/23-attribute-wizard.html lets you hide / disable unavailable combinations. You can see a demo at http://144aw.presto-changeo.com/product.php?id_product=1 Regards, Tomer.

shiggidydog
Hey Tomer, I understand how your module works but I was wondering if it could fit my specific need. Right now if user clicks on "Blue", the colors automatically filters for other colors that are offered with an 8GB option leaving Pink, Orange, and Yellow, since pink orange and yellow are offered with 8GB. I was hoping that this module would do the following: User clicks on Blue which only has an 8GB option so 16gb and 32gb would disappear. After clicking on Blue a user clicks on Pink which has 8GB and 16GB so the 16GB would reappear and the 32gb would still be hidden. If the user clicks on Metal, (which only has a 32gb option), then 8GB and 16GB would disappear and the 32GB would reappear. The colors never appear or disappear as they are the primary attribute and the size in this case would be the dependent attribute. Basically, the dependent attribute would be driven by which primary attribute was chosen and available options would refresh. Is this something that your module can do right now? I hope this makes sense... Thanks!
tomerg3
The module lets you select for each group if it should not be hidden / disabled. When that is enabled for a group (for example colors), all the colors would always display. If you select a disk size (IE 8GB) that is only available in pink, and then try to select another color, the disk size will automatically be changed to one that is available with the selected color. joncg7
I am following this thread. I want to set up my shop this way: I have a model name " xxx". Size is the most important attribute ( 24' or 30" item) this is a radio button. I also have a radio button to choose a gas type ( NG or LP) Next I have 4 types of mechanical chassis for each 24" or 30" ( drop down list) and 3 distinct decorative top styles for each 24" or 30" also in a drop down list. I ran combination generator and got 96 combinations. I manually deleted the 48 that were an incorrect mix of 24" and 30". In the front end, I get the red box appearing that that combination does not exist when an incorrect size combo is chosen. When someone chooses the size I would like only the " correct size" choices to appear in the drop down boxes. I would like the choices in the drop down boxes to be dependent on the size chosen. Is this achievable in either free or paid module?
tomerg3
Our module http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/38061-module-attribute-wizard-customize-prestshop-attributes-control-the-group-and-item-order-add-group-images-descriptions-and-more/ lets you hide / disable unavailable attributes.
