Catalog Price Rule Not Working!

Recommended Posts

Hi! I have set up a catalog price rule that should apply to a specific group of customers "Wholesale Customers". I ahve set it up to apply to a certain product category... and basically if anyone purchase 6 or more of anything in that category, they should receive 10% off that portion of their purchase. If they purchase12 or more in the category, they should receive 15% off and 24 or more, 20% off. I have it all set up showing the category, and all attributes that are within that category, but still nothing is showing up when I add the correct quantity to the cart. Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong? I am using 1.5.3.1 and I have a theme installed that I purchased from Prestashop Add Ons. Could this be a theme issue? Or no?

I need Help and I need it as soon as possible! Thank you in advance!!!

Nevermind... I think my brain may explode soon! :) Here is the screen shot of the 15% off rule. I have 2 others set up exactly the same, just different quanitties and different percentage off.

quantity 6 to 11 - 10% off

quantity 24 and up - 20% off

I should probably add... I am running version 1.5.3.1 and I only have 4 products within the pajamas category... all of which are offered in the 10 sizes that are shown in the product attributes that I have added to Condition Group 1. I want the customer to be able to buy any combination of any of the 4 pajamas in any of the sizes and be eligible for the discount.

I also puchased the tax exempt addon today, trying to ensure that my wholesale customers didn't have to pay taxes. So... it appears to work until you go to the PayPal page and all of the sudden tax shows up again. Any idea on this?

You need to post another thread for an unrelated question. It's better to get responses this way.

Hey! Well, I did that and thought you had fixed it because it said "customer" there not "wholesale." So I went thru all wholesale customers and changed their default to "Wholesale" but then I checked it and it is still not showing discount! :( Any more help?

Hello... I desparately need someone to help me with this problem. I checked with the developer of my theme and it is not a problem with the theme... it continues to operate this way in the Default theme too. So, can someone from Prestashop please help me? I have product coming in tomorrow and need this to work for me.

Thanks!

Benjamin, what issues might I run into if I upgrade? I am a little nervous about upgrading right before I am expecting lots of traffic on my site. But I tried the remedy you suggested and it did not help my issue. My problem is not with a voucher but with a catalog price rule. Please give me a heads up of what I might run into and I will try to decide the best option for me.

Thanks!

I finally got this resolved. Turns out I had to much going on in my condition group... just needed it to specify the group "pajamas" not all the sizes. I also decided to put all the pajamas under one item in my products and do the color/size options within that one item... this has made it to where you can do any combo of those products and get the discount. Now if I could only figure out why taxes keep showing up in PayPal even though I have my Tax Exempt module installed and taxes are not showing up in cart... only show up once I click on PayPal to pay.???
