bizman
I figured out the problem :I used the firebug to see the error and the log file too helped in notifying the error.C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\logs\error.logI know the "step3" problem happens for various reasons, but I did not find this particular problem reported anywhere may be im a newbie to PHP. So didnt know about simple stuff like setting the timezone.if you see this error in firbug or error log[error] [client 127.0.0.1] PHP Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Denver' for '-6.0/DST' instead in C:\\Program Files\\Apache Software Foundation\\Apache2.2\\htdocs\\prestashop\\install\\xml\\createDB.php on line 47, referer: http://localhost/prestashop/install/then you need to set the timezone in php.ini filedate.timezone = "America/Denver"the timezone varies basedon ur location.after this drop the preastshop database and do a new installation.I dont how to make modify the topic SOLVED - im new to the forumThanks,Bizman
