Hello everyone,

 

I created a Prestashop store but the speed is too slow! I think it is because of the layered navigation.

 

People usually activate the option : "Reduce the HTML" in the CCC but its only when I disactivated it that my store became faster."

 

I was told that it is because the html code for the blocklayered module was not neat.

 

Have you ever experienced that?

this is really weird. Do you have a speed boost when you disable that module?

yes, my page load goes from 8 seconds to 1 second!

Try rebuilding the block's cache...how many products do you have?

i got over 300 products

 

What do you mean by rebuilding the block's cache? How do I do that?

In the back office, module's config page, it should be possible to revuild indexes. Maybe something went wrong there

For the moment i got another problem. There is the code for google adwords on my site, it was incorrectly integrated. The problem is I don't know where to find it to modify it. I've been looking since 2 hours to no avail...

You can try inspecting the front office and see if it has any relevant class/id, then look for it in the prestashop folder with a global seartch of some text editor/IDE

so there is no fixed place where it should be? Anyone can put it anywhere you mean?

it is placed just before </body> on the pages so where do you modify that?

That depends on how it was integrated, if you hardcoded it you should be able to find it in yout theme's directory, otherwise it will be stored in a module, can you give use more info?
