PayPal Direct Sales Option Ignored

Hey all,

 

I'm having an issue where the PayPal module uses Authorization/Manual capture (payment shipping) instead of Direct sales (recommended) regardless of what I set under configuration.

 

Express checkout is set to yes and the live mode is enabled.

 

Background story:

I took a working prestashop install and copied it to a new directory then made a copy of the old database and used the reset queries found on this forum. I then changed the currency to euros instead of dollars. I also changed the site domain settings and such so that it would run.

 

After doing this, a test payment caused the need for manual claim for all payments I make. Anyone have any idea what is going on?

 

PayPal module version: 3.5.0

Prestashop version: 1.5.3.1

 

Edit: Reading through the code and I just verified that the PAYPAL_CAPTURE configuration value is set to 0. So that means $fields['PAYMENTREQUEST_0_PAYMENTACTION'] is set to Sale and not Authorization.
