Yet Again: 500 Internal Server Error

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

Now I see a lot of discussion about this and people saying it's a hosting problem. Well, I already have an installation that is working with my host and now I'm trying to install V1.2.0.8. on another account, same host.

I get the 500 Internal Server Error when I try to enter the back office.

I have already:
1. Set PHP5 (and reset it)
2. redid my .htaccess (in case of corruption)
3. Played with the permissions
4. tried to be very specific with my address (ie using index.php)

in the log it says:
97.113.152.219 - - [10/Aug/2009:08:00:21 -0700] "GET /admin-123/index.php HTTP/1.1" 500 - "-" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0; GTB6; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Media Center PC 5.0; .NET CLR 3.0.04506; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)"

The fact that I have one installation working and another not tells me it's probably not my host. Can anyone please help me resolve this?

I appreciate any help you can give that leads to a resolution.

Thanks!

-Karin
