1.5.4 CSV Import and language support

Dear Prestashop team & forum users,

 

I am giving a try at 1.5.4 and here is my first problem:

 

I am loading my product data, images etc. through CSV and it's all working fine but for the translation: looks like the DB can store only a single language:

- I load the file in english -> product titles are displayed in english

- I load the file in French -> product titles are displayed in French

- I load in english again, everything switches back to english again

 

This problem appears both in the front and in the back office.

 

any idea how to solve this?

I just re-installed and have the same problem...

 

the DB shows for the same id_product:

id_lang = 1 name = XXX

id_lang = 2 name = XXX

id_lang = 3 name = XXX

 

where XXX is similar and in a single language, changing depending of my last upload...

 

Could that BIG bug have been introduced in 1.5.4?

Hi all,

 

I found my way: it was just a matter of adding the IDs (not the reference, the IDs!!) in the CSV before import.

 

This topic can be resolved.
