Changes not being saved

Hi everyone,

 

I am having some very weird issues with my install of prestashop, I have making changes to modules, products etc and click the save button and I receive a message saying the changes have been saved but if I then revisit the page the settings have reverted back again.

 

Example - CMS Block, I have changed the tick box to display stores to an X and saved but then when I go back into the module its back to enabled ?? same as powered by prestashop but this is worse as it disappears from the front end but is still enabled in the back end ?

 

I carried out a clean install with a new DB, the user has full root access to sql and the prestashop install worked with no problems, I am using v 1.5.4.1 and installed a new template but this problem exists with the default template.

 

Any ideas ?

you use installation package from official prestashop site? ( http://www.prestashop.com/en/download ) ?

Hi Vekia

 

Yes I downloaded the zip file and uploaded using ftp, ran through the install and then deleted the install folder as instructed.

 

Its frustrating the hell out of me
