Hey,

 

to be able to automate some of the order handling, i would like to be able to download into (eg) a MS Access DB / Excel spreadsheet on my local machine, all the open orders together with the appropriate delivery addresses.

 

This would allow me to print off multiple delivery slips at once, instead of manually clicking through each of the orders in the backend. Once sent, i would also want to bulk update the processed orders and set their status to 'completed'.

 

I have checked the available API's and this wouldnt seem very difficult to achieve with some VBA & SQL.

 

However, i cannot imagine i would be the first to have throught of this? So either:

1) there is some bulk print/update mechanism in place in the PrestaShop backend that would allow users to do this and which i have completely missed, or

2) someone must already have developed something similar which i can R&D (Rob and Duplicate)

 

Of course, the ultimate aim is to have something run in the background that would check every x hours for new sales and download and print the delivery slips automagically - further minimizing human intervention.. ie my own 2 hands ;-)

 

any advise would be appreciated!
