cresote
So originally installed PS in a sub-folder of my domain. I bought a new domain and pointed it correctly to the location, but after typing in the new domain, it would revert to the original name and path in the browser bar after the page loads. Here's what I've done so far: 1. Changed the names in the Preferences and SEO & URLS to the new URL and deleted the Base URI. Now, the page fails to load and says it has a redirect loop. (Incidently, if I leave the Base URi the same (the sub-folder) the page will load but with missing objects, images, etc.). Friendly URL's is off. 2, Change the domain names in the database uvw_configuration file. 3. Regenerated robot and htaccess files. 4. Tried to edit the /config/settings.inc.php file but the lines I was supposed to change were not in there. Any other ideas? Nathan
