1.5.4.1 Installation - Database Problem

Hi,

 

I had a shop which was using version 1.2 of PS and decided to update it to 1.5.4.1 by deleting the old files and uploading the new files. I then tried to connect to the database from the old shop but at the installation stage System ConfigurationI get the following message -

 

At least one table with same prefix was already found, please change your prefix or drop your database

 

I have three shops running off the same server all with the same ps_ prefix without a problem so not sure what the issue is.

you upload files of 1.5.4.1 to the 1.2 directory? Without database upgrade?

 

what about autoupgrade?

Hi, thanks for the post. Why did you chose to do it that way? Did you see the upgrade guide?

 

A 1.2 version of PrestaShop is extremely different than 1.5.. The database tables have changed a lot.
