threeopus3
Hi, Thanks in advance if you have an answer. I'm trying to show a breakdown of shipping costs in my cart. (There will be a shipping cost associated with each carrier and a total order might involve 3 carriers). Anyway, I'm hoping that there is an easy way to get carrier shipping cost. On order-carrier.tpl, I see: $carrier.instance->id Is there anything like... $carrier.instance->id.shipping_cost or $carrier.instance->id.price ...that I can display? When a total shipping cost is calculated, it is a sum of the shipping costs from each carrier (x+y+z). How can I get x?
mereditht
did you ever figure out how shipping cost was calculated (coded)? Really need to make a mod.
threeopus3
Hi Meredith, No, I never figured out how to do this. I've realized that I don't have the skill set to customize Prestashop in any real way. Wordpress? No problem? Prestashop? Not so much. Sorry. mereditht
Prestashop have made things so difficult for developers who dont know how it works (even though they claim differently). I think the only way is to go through all the tutorials, making sure you know how everything works before touching anything. Otherwise your gonna have a bad time. What a shame.
