Disk Space - content upload folder / images uploaded ftp

Hello,

 

After looking through the formum and internet I can not find the solution for the dollowing "errors"

in order to save quite some disk space my questions is as follows:

 

Can I errase the content of the following two folders:

 

- MyImg: a folder created by me in order to upload the images, and after CSV import with the MyImg link prestashop does not seem to use them anymore but it does use 200 mb (4500 products);

 

- Can I errase the content of the upload folder (html/upload folder) I have about 126.000 files from around 20KB ... it might be due to the fact that I´ve uploaded the images throught FTP?
