search engine cannot search other language?

My website use two languages. One is English, the other is Chinese. I edit my products with two languages. But the search engine can only search by English product name. I tried to search using Chinese after I changed the website language to it, but no results came out. Is it prestashop can only search by English? do you guys know how to solve this problem? Thanks!

Really weird, do you get any error if you turn on errors (as suggested in my signature)?

Are all of your products indexed if you go to preferences/search?

I go to preferences/search, you mean re-build the entire index? or you mean I need to use the Aliases for all the products?

I rebuilded the entire index. It doesn't work. I also find out somebody has the similar question (http://forge.prestas...owse/PSCFV-8312). They edited the search.php file. I tried but fail. Do I need to upload some language pack to make the website recognizes Chinese?

My website is http://www.quickeasy.co.uk. under chinese language. There are two products written in chinese in the home page (水果 & 白水). But i can't search to find them.

I found out the problem. In chinese product name. It has be more than three letters. For example, "水果" or "白水" cannot be found. But if the name is "吃惊啊" then it can be found. I dont know why. I think it's a bug.
