Stephen Hare
Hi Guys, I am just trying to get my head round a simple use of the Advanced Stock Management. Can the Advanced Stock Management be used without having to enter "purchase prices" each and every time one adds stock? I just need the logistics of where units are and how many are available for sale rather than having to enter 6-digit prices for each and every stock movement. I don't need stock valuation at all. But if I am forced to use it, is there a way that when adding stock that the purchase price is taken from the wholesale price that entered when setting up the product? With each product I have being available with many different colours and sizes, but all with one agreed wholesale purchase price agreed for a year, it should only be necessary to enter this value once for the year and not more than a thousand times! Am I missing something?
Christiaan_01
You might want to add your stock through a supplier order. If you know how to do this (can be a bit complicated), you can add a default product price in the product page in your BO. Go to the supplier tab on a product page, and add the price. If you create a supplier order, the price will be loaded with the product.
