austinsjuiceejuice Posted May 19, 2013 Share Posted May 19, 2013 Ok i have a website that sells ecig kits, and e-liquid, and i want to do a 15% off code for only all of e-liquids and not anything else. how do i do that? i did see the rule that the cart has to contain . . . . but it dose not exclude anything else. vekia Posted May 19, 2013 Share Posted May 19, 2013 go to the cart rules -> add new cart rule Conditions Tab The second tab, "Conditions", contains a large set of possibilities, enabling you to precisely target who should be able to benefit from this rule. The check-boxes at the bottom of the section are very important, as they help you further filter to what or to whom the rule is to be applied. YOu can find there option for: Product selection. Another very useful tool, which enables to create automatic vouchers for cart which contain specific products. The tool is explained in more detail below. The "Product selection" option brings a whole new form, and enables you to create not only per-product vouchers, by also per-categories, per-manufacturers, per-suppliers and even per-attribute. As a bonus, you can combine all these in order to specify your customer target as much as possible. you can select products or categories. I've got default clean installation - everything works fine. i've got question: 1) Maybe you use some external modules with cartrule class override? I still can't find a solution to why the coupon code works on all products no matter what I select as conditions in the admin panel. I actually selected "selected products" and that seems to work for the manufacturers I chose under the conditions.
