Product Image not showing? Any help appreciated

Hi there, 1st time posting so please bear with....... I have created a new website http://littleprints.net and i have a custom theme downloaded for free (Simple_Responsive).

 

Had a few teething issues. But i still have two fundamental issues:

 

1. Product images not showing when you click on the product and go to its URL but the clicking for zoom function seems to show image as does when i actually click on the thumbnail.

 

2. I cant seem to get the automatic regen of thumbnails to work i get the following error. Cannot write "No picture" image to (categories) images folder. Please check the folder's writing permissions.

I have tried changing all the permissions from looking around forums but no luck to date.....

 

Any help greatly appreciated. I will leave the site live for 24hrs for peeps to see if they can figure out the above problems.

go to the preferenes->images

 

have you got on images list - image type named "product_resp" ?

it looks like this image isn't defined - and it is necessary for product page

Hi Vekia, Works a treat many thanks for your help!! Any idea what the thumbnail issue is? Also why do you need to regenerate thumbnails?

I'm not sure at all what's going on, i think that this isn't issue with permissions but with something else.

 

what ps version you use?

I agree that i dont think this is a permissions issue as i have tried all sorts of permissions. What is the purpose of the thumbnail regen anyhow as it does not seem to make any difference in the website so far.
