Bad parameters to mail() function, mail not sent. MailSend.php

I am using 1.5.4.1 after generating attribute I have got the following error.

Duh, that's weird, I didn't know the attribute generation triggered emails. Are you using overrides or custom modules?

Did anyone solve this?

I am having similar problem when a customer try to recover the password.

However, pressing the mail test button in the back office works.
