***Solved*** PayPal Payment Error when using Prestashop Voucher Code

I am getting PayPal payment errors when using a PS Voucher that gives a % off the order. The problem seems to be that when the customer gets directed to PayPal for payment, the items show in the Order Summary excluding tax, the discount voucher is also in the Order Summary.

 

The discount is then applied to the total excluding tax, then the tax is added to the total after the discount is applied. This causes a Payment Error in my PrestaShop as the paid amount in PayPal is not correct. The total should be calculated including tax, then the discount applied to that total.

 

E.g.

I have a voucher that gives 25% off

Item total is €20

Add item & voucher to cart

Total now €15 + shipping (in PrestaShop cart)

Select PayPal as payment option

PayPal Order Summary shows products excluding tax

Also shows €-5 for discount voucher

PayPal adds the €5 discount to the order and then adds the tax and shipping

This then results in a payment error as the total is not €15 + shipping

 

If I select a different payment option, i.e. Cash on delivery, the total works correctly.

 

Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening?

 

I have set the voucher code for "Minimum Purchase" - amount - "Tax incl."

Actually just found this post - http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/242965-wrong-prices-when-discount/

 

Updated module and seems to have resolved the issue. Do also get the message in BO about "warning: module installed but with warnings", but seems to work anyway.
