scurve
Hi, I have spent hours researching this problem. I have PrestaShop 1.5.2.0, when I click on "Test your e-mail configuration" I receive the test email. But if someone fills in the contact form or buys a product no emails are received by admin or customer. I have tried to use PHP mail () function and st my own smtp. I have diasabled and uninstalled "mail alerts" and installed and activated, still nothing. I spoke to the template company and they mentioned that they do no modify any core fies with their template. I am now at a loss. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. PS: I have PrestaShop 1.5.2.0 on the same server, and emails work fine.
NemoPS
Check that the mails/ folder contains your language ISO folder, otherwise just copy the one that's there giving it that ISO

scurve
Hi Vinatec, thanks for the post. I am not with godaddy, but I tried it anyways, and it didn't work. Emails are still not working.
Bill Dalton
Search your modules for "Mail Alert". It needs to be installed. If it is installed, uninstall and reinstall. You'll need to check the config link as well. Let me know if that works for you. Edited May 18, 2013 by Bill Dalton (see edit history)
