Lorellas
Hello, I'm using version 1.4.7.3 locally and would like to switch to 1.4.10, I state that all 'time I bought a theme that was compatible with version 1.4.7.3, so I do not know if it's still compatible with version 1.4 .10 How can I do the 'upgrade without losing anything of the work done so far in such a way that all the products that I have so far with their descriptions do not go to get messy or lost, that is sure to find them as usual? ? In the meantime I downloaded and installed on another computer the new version of MAMP and PS 1.4.10 and accordingly made a new db. I could move all the work of PS 1.4.7.3 which is located on a computer in the new PS 1.4.10 which is in the new computer, without clearly immediately bought the theme, but then try to install it at a later time, even though I already tried to install it automatically with themeinstallator, but I get the message: Bad configuration file. I am a beginners, a little help would be much appreciated. Sorry for my English Thank you very much.
Bill Dalton
It does depend on your theme. But chances are high that the upgrade will work. If you make a backup up of your web site. (download a copy) Use phpmyadmin to exsport an SQL backup and download that. If you do these 2 things you are fully protected. Then just run the upgrade. Make sure you install the latest version of one click upgrade first. http://addons.presta...utoupgrade.html Edited May 20, 2013 by Bill Dalton (see edit history)
