S7 Media Ltd
Hi there, I've been asked by a client if the following is possible with their prestashop website. I'll briefly explain their set up so that it makes sense. They have a collection of products, some which they want to sell online, some they do not (and therefore make Prestashop act as a catalogue for non-saleable items). We don't want to use catalogue mode as we want all categories to be displayed, whether they can buy from the categories or not. In the category tree in blockcategories, they'd ideally like to highlight categories that contain items which are available for purchase, for example a bit of CSS or an icon that says 'buy online' next to the category name. I'm guessing, if it's achievable, we'd need to get Prestashop to check if the items have stock or perhaps we could create a 'catalogue only' customer group and assign categories that don't have saleable items to it? Does anyone know of any smarty code that may get me started? Thanks in advance.
