V12
Hi, I'm working on my 1.5 web shop, i've been uploading a considerable number of categories. suddenly after one upload batch the front office refuses to open and gives a 500 error. My back office works fine. > I've checked the categories trough the back office and those are fine. Server time out controls are good > checked and enlarged control files. Server does not have any errors > as per Cpanel quick diagnoses Checked error in multiple browsers > error persists in all Has anyone encountered this issue? How do i get my front office back working?

vekia
have you got an access to the PHP error log? if so - check it for errors. You imported categories with subcategories ?
gormmo
Hi. I have the exact same problem.. The client creates a new subcategory and suddenly the main category disappears from backend and the frontend crashes with a error 500.. The php error log says: [Thu Nov 14 13:48:58.994189 2013] [core:error] [pid 775249] [client 93.167.247.130:56391] End of script output before headers: index.php Any solution to this problem yet? Best regards, Gorm Edited November 15, 2013 by gormmo (see edit history)

gormmo
check ps_category table in your database have you got there some "enormous" values in nleft / nright columns? Well, I have values like around 230 in some of the lines.. Is that "enourmous"? And thank you for your quick reply :-)
