ernestus2001
hi there, I have like 2500 virtual products in my shop. do I have to upload all the files manually or is there any way/module to automatically import bulk quantity of virtual products? maybe some way to upload files first to the FTP and then to connect files to products through .csv file import? best, pawel
Esteri
Hi I am also looking for a solution for this. When talking about thousands of virtual products, it's no use to start linking the manually. It would be most time consuming and secondly the risk of mistakes would be remarkable. Would somebod know the way to csv import virtual products and link them to the actual downloadable files? This would mean a small addition to the csv, in order to link the product and the file, just like we do link the images already. Could somebody of you skilled guys consider this to be done? ernestus2001
hi there. the only solution that I found is to name the file the same way that product is named. afterwards I used macro to copy & paste the file name into product name (or other way around - can't remember exactly, but the rule was simple). Esteri
Hi Ernestus Ok good, sounds logic. I will try it. Still, thinking about this… The next problem will be the different variations of the virtual product being offered for the customer. I believe this is a product feature of Prestashop, which will be created together in future. Br, Esteri
