Memcached cannot be enabled

hi

 

so far i have been using a shared server to i was unable to use any caching system. now i bought a vps and install memcached module and i can confirm the module has been installed correctly.

 

now when i do a fresh install in my VPS, memcached is accepted and working under -> Performance

 

but when i did a full cpanel backup from shared server to vps, the memcached is not working. when ever i select memcached and save, it again goes cache disabled radio button

 

any idea?
