dbworkwear
I am creating an ecommerce site that is hosted by Bluehost. My problem is that I cannot find certain files (I am VERY new to creating websites, this is my first one) that I need to change a few things on or add modules (like addshop). I am looking for themes/prestashop for now, and cannot find it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Danielle
yaniv14
hmmmm..... what? where? who? :-) did you install prestashop on your server (bluehost)? if so you can add modules in back office (admin). if you are looking to hardcode template files (modules also) and you are looking for prestashop folder on your server, most likely it will be under 'public_html' folder and inside you have modules folder, themes folder.... and many more. if what you are asking its not what I answer than try to explain your self better, so we can help. Good luck with your 1st website.

There are others too, but that one for now.... does that explain myself a little better? Thanks for the info!!

benjamin utterback
Well, if you are going to start changing files and codes around. You need to know how to create a backup of both your SQL Database and your PrestaShop Files. Read this thread for more info. http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/245815-solvedhow-to-back-up-shop/
dbworkwear
OK, I just read it all, and I think I understand some, but I'm not sure if I understand it all.
benjamin utterback
Well, you can definitely call BlueHost and ask them for instructions on how to back up your Database. When you contact them, also ask for your FTP credentials, in order to edit and backup your PrestaShop files. You should download your own FTP client, I personally like Filezilla That would be a good start. Just remember that if you are changing the code/files, you must be sure to have a backup in-case something does not work properly and you need to revert back to your backup. dbworkwear
Alright, I have backed up the db, installed filezilla and gotten in there. But I still do not see the files that I am supposed to be looking for
