sarjos Posted May 10, 2013 Share Posted May 10, 2013 I am trying to install prestashop 1.5.4.1 and when iget to the section headed i am having problems when i get to the system configuration tab Configure your database by filling out the following fields: Database server address: i put the ip address ) Database name: ( ithe database name that i created ) Database login: ( the username of the database ) Database password: ( i put my password to log onto my 1and1 host account ) Database Engine: ( InnoDB ) Tables prefix ( ps_ ) i always get the message. Database Server is not found. Please verify the login, password and server fields (DbPDO) i cannot seem to get any further with the installation Any help would be appreciated Thanks David Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
vekia Posted May 10, 2013 Share Posted May 10, 2013 well this communicate said, that installation script can't connect with your database. You should check very carefully value of these fields. mytheory. Posted May 11, 2013 Share Posted May 11, 2013 Hi, For the host field are you using your "IP address"? Is your database on the same server as your PS installation/directory?
