Doulas Akula
Hi guys, I have an issue with the SSL configuration of my store. Its shows the prefix https:// in the backoffice pages but does nt show the same in the front office pages. The last time I checked with the host he confirmed that it is installed correctly. I have SSL enabled under Enable SSL in preferences. I use PS version 1.4.7.0. A screenshot of the urls in backend and frontend is attached. I will appreciate ideas to fix this. Will also be willing to provide further information Thank you
Rhapsody
I just went to the link in your signature and changed http:// to https:// Your website is displayed with SSL. The site should force you to SSL if you login the FO and select links under my account, or go to checkout. The entire shop does not get forced to SSL, even though you have SSL enabled. Try it and see if you get SSL forced in the front office for the areas I mentioned.
Doulas Akula
Thanks for this. Yes for the areas you mentioned I get ssl. somewhere in my back office i saw a comment "If your hosting provider allows SSL, you can activate SSL encryption (https://) for customer account identification and order processing" But for most sites I am used to seeing the https prefix on the site. I contacted the SSL department and they told me to do a htaccess redirect from http to https. Am yet to do that. Will update this post if it works. Thanks Rhapsody for your feedback. I really appreciate.
