foxygardner
Can anyone help me? I started my site about 3 weeks ago. I finally had everything the way I wanted except for one tiny thing. I tried to delete the birthdate section by deleting code and I messed it up. So, in frustration, I completely uninstalled prestashop, reinstalled it, and am now in the process of putting everything back in. My version was 1.5.4 but when I reinstalled it a few days ago it installed 1.5.4.1. Now my heading logo hides everything on the top! Yes, my heading is large but it worked on the older version. How do I fix this so my heading works? I want to keep the large one. Please help!!!
GoneVintage
Hi, you could try to backup the database, export categories and products using Prestashop BO, save it localy and then uninstall it again. Download 1.5.4 and install it. Import categories and products. Job done!
NemoPS
WHat do you mean by hides everything? The logo is usually absolutely positioned in the default theme, so it may be enough to simply use a smaller one
vekia
i think that you're talking about something like: here is a sample solutions: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/246142-solved-top-menu-and-logo-position-after-1541-upgrade/page__p__1220565__hl__logo__fromsearch__1?do=findComment&comment=1220565 http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/243425-solved-problems-with-template-after-upgrade-to-1541/page__p__1204849__hl__logo__fromsearch__1?do=findComment&comment=1204849 CSS settings values depends on your logo size so it will be nice, if you will share the url to your website regards
foxygardner
Thanks everyone for the help. Yes Vekia, this is exactly what happened. I ended up changing to a smaller logo size and although this is not ideal, it works for now. I'm a newby so I'm a little nervous about changing code.
