Maury Markowitz
We sell a number of products that are spare parts and other bits and pieces that we don't want to show up in the catalog. Otherwise when you list the category, it's filled with items. But we still want them to be able to be found if you search for them. Is there a way to do this? PascalVG
What you can try is to add the products to a new category, (named "invisible" or so). Then turn OFF 'display category'. make sure you add searchable things to the products, like tags. Not sure if the Search box picks it up, but clicking tags should work... My 2 cents, pascal
Maury Markowitz
No luck… as soon as I put it into the category that is not displayed, it's gone from search too. :-(

rohil69
I want the same thing to be done. that is if a person searches with model no., it shouldn't display products spares with that model no. where as when one searches for part no. it should display that product part in search results
sari
Edit the product and in the "information" tab, change "Visibility" to "Search Only" Edited December 25, 2014 by sari (see edit history)
